Party like it’s 1995
Hard to believe it’s been 12 years since Portland alt-rockers Everclear broke through with their scrappy grunge pop record “Sparkle and Fade,” especially since that’s the year we graduated high school. Unlike our haircut and style choices from that period (pony tail and XXXL flannel shirt ring any bells?) we bet hits like “Santa Monica” from that record, and “Everything to Everyone” and “Father of Mine” from their follow-up “So Much for the Afterglow”
will seem a little less outdated when the band performs tonight. 21+ 8 p.m. Free with RSVP. Parris, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, Boston. going.com/everclear
