Also celebrating a CD release tonight is Hooray for Earth, a local band that makes ethereal indie-rock with catchy hooks. Hooray will be playing from an EP called “Cellphone” at the Middle East Downstairs. Opening acts are Caspian, Age Rings, and the New York City band Zambri. 8 p.m. $10, $12.
