One word describes the CD Illinois from Sufjan Stevens… AWESOME!
I wish it weren’t the case but, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Illinois. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
The nice thing about a CD

Very talented Jazz artist Stanley Clarke has released him latest CD titled I Wanna Play For You and Wow! It’s really a good one.

These days it’s a very rare CD on which every single song is good or better than the one before it. This CD is certainly one of those rare CDs.

I like Techno-Industrial music because I like technology. When I look around this world of ours — at our leaders and their military golems, or the fanatically religious — the emotion evoked in me is mostly embarrassment at this devolved and arrogant predicament I have been born into. Techno-Industrial music has always helped to alleviate that embarrassment, and I love it for that, more than anything. Techno Industrial music (Some say Electro-Industrial)

“I really ought to cut that from the list” I muttered to myself - and as I worked on, the song began to play - and I realized why it was on the old ABS play list, and why it is a part of the new play list, in spite of the fact that it’s now 17 years old - and why I will probably never stop hoping someone hears it for the first time and is driven to own the CD.
Gilbert was, in no uncertain terms, one of the most gifted musicians and song craftsmen

One of the drawbacks of going to a concert on New Year’s Eve is settling on just one type of music to be the soundtrack for your entire big night. Let’s say you’re into jazz, but your friends are looking for a funky dance party. And maybe your boyfriend likes more of a hip-hop or reggae vibe. New York’s Soulive covers all that ground, and everything in between. The band, which has collaborated with the likes of Chaka Khan, Dave Matthews, and Talib
