The accordion isn’t just for polka, zydeco, and klezmer music - or reruns of “The Lawrence Welk Show.” Rock bands such as the Decemberists and They Might Be Giants have embraced the squeezebox, as does the New York-based alt-folklorica group Pistolera, which is bringing its blend of Mexican and pop rock to Boston’s first Rock en Espanol Festival tonight. The program also features ULI & the Gringos, Contramano, and openers I-20, who hail from Boston.
