Brooke Fraser, a young New Zealand-bred singer-songwriter whose music has Christian roots but still manages to have mass appeal, performs at the Paradise Lounge tonight. She falls somewhere between Paula Cole and Michelle Branch, and her look is as wholesome as a Hanson brother’s. Expect to hear songs from her album “Albertine.” Opening the show will be local feel-good singer-songwriter Jesse Ruben. 9 p.m. $10.Paradise Lounge, 969 Commonwealth
